I recently got nominated for a Liebster Award by a pal at A Saucy Kitchen, how cool is that? Bloggers nominate each other for the award, usually it's a sort of pay it forward type type thing among up-and-comers. Once you win, you answer a few questions about your site and then nominate some more folks! See all that below.
But first, thanks again to Try The World for letting me submit a macaron recipe to their magazine. This was my first time making macarons and yes they are as difficult as people say they are. After a few tries, I got a pretty decent result. Get my recipe HERE.

Cause I'm not a regular mom, I'm a cool mom.
What’s your least favorite thing about blogging?
When Dan gets mad at me for getting buttercream all over his fancy camera.
What’s your favorite thing about blogging?
Listening to my sick playlists all Saturday and baking nasty (the good kind of nasty) s#!t.
Where do you find inspiration?
My belly, my mind, and other cool bloggers. Some of my favorites include my name is yeh, Smitten Kitchen, Brooklyn Supper, Probably This, Can You Stay for Dinner, Cannelle et Vanille, and all of the people I get to work with at Chicory!
What’s your guilty pleasure food (if you have any)?
All of them? Well, actually, I'm pretty good at not feeling guilty about enjoying food. Some that occasionally feel shameful include the fifth slice of Domino's, the whole platter of street meat after a night of drinking, and the pieces of cake that get stuck to the knife when you cut the cake.
What’s something on your bucket list?
Live in a climate that's rainy and cloudy all the time. Ireland, presumably some part of Canada, the town where they live in Twilight... something like that. A more interesting question might be "what have you crossed off your bucket list," and my answer would be talking to Steve Martin in an elevator.
Where’s your favorite place to be?
On my way to eat lunch.
How did you get into cooking?
I thought that I used to make pancakes on the weekends for my little sister, but she swears that never happened.
What are your short term blog goals?
Update all of my old posts to look gooood on my site, which I redesigned this summer.
Long term blog goals?
Become rich/famous and be the first blogger on Dancing with the Stars.
