Hello, world! Remember when I stopped eating carbs? ahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahah they're back now, with a vengeance. But also now paired with this deluded belief that eating a ton of cheese will help me look foine (it did, though!). So that's how October is going.

I had some major life changes recently, which maybe I'll get into some other time. I'm bouncing around and staying with friends, though, which has been a lot of fun. For example, I went to Jersey City and stayed with Iris and ate crab fried rice at Talde. And then I stayed with Amanda on the Upper East Side and watched Teen Mom. And then I stayed with Candice in Queens and baked cookies.

And then I stayed at Candice's, but had Amanda over to watch the Amanda Knox documentary and try out baby foot. Have you heard of baby foot? Basically, it's this plastic sock filled with chemicals that make all of the skin fall off of your foot within five days. We did this on Saturday. My feet haven't started peeling yet. God bless. I'm so scared. Any words from the wise?

I also attended some super cool events last week, where there were things like shawarma tacos and funfetti mini cupcakes. Hence the carb thing. Once I popped, though, I couldn't stop. In the days since, it's been lots of Shake Shack, pizza, pasta with bacon all over it, Ben & Jerry's, et al.

In the interest in getting my cheese body back, I made some healthy (?) breakfast cookies! I'm no expert, but I know that these have basically no sugar--just the banana and the little bit of sweetness from the OLLY Smoothie mix! This stuff is so good. And if you're a disorganized mess who has been sleeping on friends' couches, you'll love how easy it is to mix this stuff with some water and go in the morning! OR you can mix that Velvet Vanilla flavor into some cookies that you believe to be healthy and therefore can/should eat for breakfast.
