Did I tell you that our shower got fixed? I know you're already thinking "wtf kind of reading material is this garbage--a blog about plumbing!?" But it truly was the most momentous event in the past week for me (aside from Beyoncé and those insane Woll Smoth Snapchat filters), so I'm going to get into it.
We spent the night in the emergency vet because my poor Jelly got in a little fight with another dog on his walk last night. Some wounds on his ear and face would not stop bleeding, so I called up Rich & Can to ask if we could borrow their car and then off to the 24-hour animal hospital in Forest Hills we went.
Tons of people are standing beneath my window right now, watching the blood moon eclipse from the sidewalk. I stepped out to walk the dogs and took a peak at the very gorgeous celestial event. And then Dan started talking about the sun exploding and I was just like nope nope nope nope nope bye.
